Legacy
The fight against illegal drugs now focuses on dismantling syndicates — not instilling fear. Since July 2022, over ₱57 billion worth of illegal drugs have been seized, while ₱2.73 billion in smuggled goods have been intercepted to protect hardworking Filipinos striving to earn a living and put food on the table.
Peacekeeping efforts were intensified at the barangay level. Through expanded community programs, index crimes dropped by 61.87%, a significant improvement in public safety.
When illegal POGO operations became breeding grounds for human trafficking and fraud, I shut them down. Over 40 hubs were dismantled and hundreds rescued. Because under this administration, the law protects the vulnerable — not the powerful.
Peace cannot be built on fear. It must be built on dignity and the promise of a better life. Over 3,200 former rebels were given the chance to start again with livelihood, housing, and amnesty programs.
We are ensuring that when Filipinos dial 911, the Philippine National Police responds within five minutes or less, because every second matters.
