The Marcos Jr.
Legacy
Through the Department of Migrant Workers, I established a one-stop agency to deliver faster, more reliable service to every OFW and their family — wherever they are in the world.
I opened a 24/7 command center to respond to emergencies because when a Filipino cries for help abroad, their government should always be the first to answer.
Thousands have been brought home safely from conflict areas, and we will continue to bring our people back, no matter how far they are or how difficult the journey may be.
I advocated for our OFWs in every nation I visited to make sure they are treated fairly, protected under the law, and paid what they deserve. Dignity must follow every Filipino, wherever they are in the world.
I opened OFW Centers across the country to ensure that support doesn’t end when our workers return home. From reintegration and business opportunities to scholarships for their children — I am helping them build strong, new beginnings.
OFWs sacrifice so much in service of our nation. These airport lounges give them a quiet place to rest before the long journey ahead — a simple way to show that their service is seen, and deeply valued.
When our OFWs finally choose to come home for good, support is ready — whenever and if ever they need it. Through our reintegration programs, we turn hardship into hope, and hope into new beginnings.
