Built in the late 1930s during the administration of President Manuel L. Quezon, this historic structure is one of the original buildings of Malacañang Park. Designed by National Artist for Architecture Juan Arellano in collaboration with Antonio Toledo, it originally served as the Community Assembly Building, where presidents met with government officials and community leaders.

Over the years, the building evolved alongside the Office of the President and eventually became home to the country’s presidential security units. Today, following extensive restoration and rehabilitation, it serves as the headquarters of the Presidential Escort Group under the Presidential Security Command, continuing its enduring role in safeguarding the President of the Philippines and the First Family.
