Media Statement by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. during his visit to the Bataan General Hospital and Medical Center
We are now in Bataan โ for the Bataan General โ to look at how the system is working. At another added convenience [applause] which I think we should adopt all around the country.
And thatโs why Iโm very happy that we are instituting this program. I think itโs been a long time coming and Iโm glad.
We are 80 percent of the way.
My aspiration, of course, is to achieve the dream of universal healthcare for all our people.
Itโs just a question of building up the economy so we can afford it, number one, and putting in the system. The systems are all in place.
