Every 𝐒𝐎𝐍𝐀 reminds me of the countless hours, the sacrifices, and the heart my husband pours into serving our country.

I couldn’t be prouder of the man he is and the leader he strives to be.

His greatest wish has always been simple —to make life a little easier and a little better for every 𝘍𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘰 family.

Couldn’t help but shed a tear

as I listened to my husband deliver his 𝙎𝙊𝙉𝘼.

When he said, “We are 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙛𝙪𝙡, we are 𝙙𝙞𝙜𝙣𝙞𝙛𝙞𝙚𝙙 … and 𝙬𝙚 𝙙𝙤 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙮𝙞𝙚𝙡𝙙,”

I felt the weight of every 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲, every sacrifice and every prayer that brought us to this moment.

This time next year will be my husband’s last 𝙎𝙊𝙉𝘼. So please allow me to say what I 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 is in his heart

To every member of our staff [read: you’ve always been 𝙁𝘼𝙈𝙄𝙇𝙔 to us] and to everyone who never stopped believing in our shared vision — thank you.

Your 𝙡𝙤𝙮𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙮, hard work and quiet sacrifices have meant more than words can ever express. You are 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙛𝙪𝙡 . . . 𝙙𝙞𝙜𝙣𝙞𝙛𝙞𝙚𝙙 . . . and you will 𝙣𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙮𝙞𝙚𝙡𝙙!

It was a joy to welcome leaders from across 𝘚𝘰𝘶𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘵 𝘈𝘴𝘪𝘢 and beyond as we celebrated the 𝟱𝟬𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆 of the 𝙏𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝘼𝙢𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘾𝙤𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 (𝗧𝗔𝗖).

For 𝗳𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘀, 𝗧𝗔𝗖 has been a symbol of peace and mutual respect — bringing together 𝟲𝟮 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 across 𝗳𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 through dialogue, trust and cooperation.

As our guests return home, I hope they bring with them not only 𝘄𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 of our country but also a 𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 of the friendships that unite us and the shared commitment to build a more peaceful future for all.

When a loved one needs urgent medical care, every minute matters.

Grateful to witness the 𝟭𝟬𝟬% 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘄𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 of the 𝙋𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩 𝙑𝙚𝙝𝙞𝙘𝙡𝙚 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙢. In other words, it’s the first time in history that all 𝟴𝟮 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 in the country were given these life-saving vehicles.

These vehicles will help bring patients to hospitals more quickly and safely, especially in communities where access to healthcare has always been a challenge.

This fulfills my husband’s commitment to make healthcare more accessible for every 𝘍𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘰.

Honored to witness the inauguration of the 𝗗𝗢𝗛–𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗕. 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻’𝘀 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 in 𝘊𝘭𝘢𝘳𝘬—a place where healing, hope and brighter tomorrows will come together.

Starting 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟭, children from 𝘊𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘭 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘕𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘯 𝘓𝘶𝘻𝘰𝘯 who need specialized medical care will no longer have to travel far from home. With 𝟭𝟭𝟭 𝗯𝗲𝗱𝘀 and 𝗭𝗲𝗿𝗼 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗕𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴, quality pediatric healthcare will be available free of charge, bringing comfort and peace of mind to so many families.

My heartfelt thanks to the 𝘿𝙚𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙝, 𝘾𝙡𝙖𝙧𝙠 𝘿𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙥𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝘾𝙤𝙧𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣, 𝙋𝘼𝙂𝘾𝙊𝙍, 𝘽𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧𝙧𝙮 𝘾𝙪𝙡𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙡 𝙁𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 and everyone whose generosity and hard work made this dream a reality.
